Employer Plan/Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)

An employee assistance programme (EAP) is a confidential work-based intervention programme designed to assist employees in resolving personal problems that may be adversely affecting their work performance or life in general. EAP covers a broad range of issues such as relationship challenges, financial or legal problems, wellness matters and traumatic events like workplace violence. EAP services are usually made available not only to the employee but also to the employee’s spouse, children, and non-marital partner who live in the same household as the employee. Even though EAPs are primarily intended to help with work-related issues, they can also help with a variety of non-work-related programmes.

Employees who use the EAP offered by our team have access to a multidisciplinary team of experts, including psychologists, psychiatrists, career and executive coaches, dieticians, psychotherapists, wellness coaches, legal/financial experts, and other consultants. These experts provide support for a variety of issues, from minor daily challenges to more serious and complex personal and psychosocial issues, and they do so through an integrative approach.
